As seen here, only one wounded man escaped, falling to the ground 10m from the tank, before getting back up to put more distance between himself and the smart weapon magnet. Infantry are far more likely to survive in this war than armored/mechanized cavalry forces.

Why not tow it in and repair it, while capturing the remaining crew as POWs for prisoner exchange? Shoot the other escaping crew member in the hip, another POW.
