‘Breathing Fire’: Donald Trump Goes Crazy on Fox News Interview

On Monday night, Trump finally returned to Fox News for real, for another interview with Hannity, for which the Fox host traveled to Mar-a-Lago. Trump aired numerous grievances, although he did not reference the revelations from the Dominion lawsuit about Fox talent and executives privately ripping Trump in the aftermath of the 2020 election.

Donald Trump is back on Fox News: For the first time in almost six months, former President Donald Trump appeared on Fox News Channel for a live interview on Monday, airing numerous grievances to Sean Hannity. As you can imagine, Trump was breathing fire as usual.

Donald Trump and Fox News Make Up?

Back in early March, there were reports of a “soft ban” for Donald Trump on Fox News.

Donald Trump had not appeared for an interview on Fox News since announcing in November that he was running for president again.

A few days after that, Trump returned to Fox, sort of, when he did a radio interview with Sean Hannity that was later played on Hannity’s Fox TV show.

Trump did talk a lot about his potential indictment by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

“It’s a new way of cheating in elections,” Trump said of the New York investigation. “It’s called election interference.”

“Well, I deal with it,” Trump said of the possibility that he could be indicted. ”We’re dealing with very dishonest people. We’re dealing with thugs. We’re dealing with people I actually believe that hate our country.”

He also defended himself from the notion that an image he posted to Truth Social, of himself with a baseball bat next to a picture of District Attorney Alvin Bragg, was meant as an endorsement of violence.

“You have to understand that when the story was put up, we didn’t see pictures, we put up a story that was very exculpatory, very good story from the standpoint of what we’re talking about,” Trump said of that post. “They put up a picture of me where I was holding the baseball bat at the White House…Then they put next to that picture, a picture of Alvin Bragg. I didn’t do it. They did it.”

Trump had posted a story on Truth Social by a pro-Trump website called National File, which had placed the baseball bat photo and the Bragg photo side-by-side.

Trump Goes After Ron DeSantis

Donald Trump also ripped his likely future opponent, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, in the interview, claiming that DeSantis went to him with “tears in his eyes” to ask for an endorsement for governor in 2018, and once again claimed credit for DeSantis’ election that year.

“He would be working either in a pizza parlor place or a law office right now, or a law office, and he wouldn’t be very happy,” Trump said of DeSantis.

He also stated that while he and DeSantis were never “friends,” DeSantis was among members of Congress who defended Trump during his first impeachment trial. The comments made clear that Trump endorsed DeSantis because DeSantis had shown loyalty to him and expected that loyalty in return.

Trump’s campaign has sent signals, according to reports, that anyone who works for DeSantis will be blackballed from any future jobs with the Trump campaign or a second Trump Administration.

Just because Trump was back on Fox News doesn’t mean Fox has become all-in on him again. On Laura Ingraham’s show Monday night, New York Post writer Miranda Devine criticized Trump for constantly talking about his own grievances.

“I hope that at some point Donald Trump does flip to the future, instead of dwelling on the past,” Devine said on the show.

“Because he looks like someone who is full of grievance and anger, not like he was in 2016, and like we knew him as president, really a sunny person who focuses on serious issues and does them with panache, not someone who is constantly dwelling on grievance.”

Questionable as the characterization of then-President Trump as a “sunny person” might be, Devine was soon interrupted by the show’s other guest, former Trump speechwriter Stephen Miller, although Ingraham appeared to take Devine’s side.

How can anyone blame Trump after what he’s been through? Nearly all of the media was against him. From the day Trump came down the escalators as a candidate, the die was cast against him. A false dossier perpetuated by the FBI hindered his presidency. Now we know that criminal activity by the aforementioned was only the beginning of their dastardly plans. Trump should have had the opportunity for a fair and free election in 2020 and he would have had it not been for the same culprits covering up the Hunter Biden laptop.

I find it somewhat amazing that some folks still side with trump. You say “after all he has been through”. He has been a crook all his life and it is finally catching up with him. If you have proof that the 2020 election was other than a fair election bring it. Over 60 court cases and investigations into the possible rigged election turned up no credible evidence of such.Lock him up

HASTA BE- I agree with your opinion and think most Americans agree with you as well. Republicans, Independents and Democrats as well truly know this a political maneuver to smear his name during his upcoming presidential campaign and to distract the public from what is currently going on with the massive failure in the Whitehouse.

first, I will say that I am truly a TRUMPER. I am 77 years old and I have never seen ANY politician targeted like he has had to endure. This court case is truly a sham…a disgrace to our country.

Donald Trump is the BEST there has been. He is continuously focusing on the future and what is best for the country. But he has 24/7 lawsuits, and prosecutors 24/7 from everywhere crawling out of the woodwork, looking to catch him breathing the wrong way so they can throw some mickey mouse charge on him. He has to talk about it. That is what people want to hear right now. How will he get out of this one, He’s going down. The reporters can’t wait to ask him about it. Again, all this is a distraction from Joe Biden and his family’s crimes. Plus they are so afraid of Trump, they probably wet their pants every time he opens his mouth for fear he knows something they don’t know, and he does a lot more. They know he will expose them. For everything, they accuse him of they are guilty of that is how they come up with all the crazy stunts they try to pull. Why do they not focus on something besides Donald Trump?????

the Trump indictment is a Communist “show trial”. The Commie-crats are trying to demonize and jail the opposition like they did in Soviet Russia. The way the Communists try to destroy our morals, our religion, our sexuality and brainwash everyone in schooLs and on TV is so obvious, that I got rid of my TV peopaganda machine a long time ago!!! CNN really does mean Communist News Network!!!!

I’m amazed that Trumpets can’t see Trump for what he is. A man who breaks laws perpetually and expects everyone to look the other way. Pay attention’s to what the reality is in Wizard of Oz—look behind the curtain. All is not as it seems. Yet the gullible continue to adore Trump and ignore the law-breaking grifter he is.

I will say Trump is outlandish and over the top at times. Since the 2020 election, our country, economy, retirements, etc. have declined severely. The fuel prices have risen since the first month Biden took office as well and don’t seem to be getting any better. So please tell me how people still think Biden was the right choice? I would love to hear it.

I can only hope that all the corruption in our government AND this latest persecution of Pres. Trump, finally kicks off a NATIONWIDE revolution,NOT A CIVIL WAR,that would be too light. We need to roll up the Communist Democrats, the Wokie-ez, the Alphabet crew,ANTIFA,Race Hustlers, Gender Creeps and anyone else who cannot adhere to the Declaration of Independence,The Constitution, and our Bill of Rights.

The Declaration of Independence calls for such action when the government AND ITS CO-CONSPIRATORS IN BIG TECH,BIG PHARMA AND THE FAKE MEDIA so blatantly abuses our rights and freedoms.

IT IS TIME YOU FACE THE WRATH OF THE FREE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.YOU ARE THE ONLY SOURCES OF DIVISION IN AMERICA TODAY,NOT THE CITIZENS WHO EMPLOY YOU!

YOU SERVE US! NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!A FACT YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN.

    SIGNED,
    AMERICA

The efforts to “get” Trump merely show the left for what they are, enemies of the rule of law and advocates of the end justifying the means. They must be defeated to preserve our republic.

Man, I wonder how much Chump is paying all these sycophants on here to kiss his ass? What a bunch of delusional people. He’s clearly losing his mind, what other grade schooler insists on posting everything in all CAPS? And all these rants remind me of some sad person who has been hurt mentally, not at all like the tough person we need to lead this country. What a fragile ego!!! As he says “SAD!”
